Aging is inevitable. As you grow older, the gradual loss of collagen and elastin, combined with the effects of sunlight, injuries, acne, and other external impurities, can lead to dull, damaged skin. Thanks to modern aesthetic medicine and technologies, such as MicroLaser Peel, we can reverse the signs of aging and sun damage.
MicroLaser Peel
Improve Skin Clarity & Softness
The MicroLaser Peel is an innovative, non-invasive procedure that can improve the clarity and softness of your skin. MicroLaser is a gentle laser skin resurfacing technique that can target the outer layers of the skin without damaging the deeper layers, resulting in healthier and smoother-looking skin. It’s quick, safe, and effective for all skin types and can reduce signs of sun damage, age spots, acne, and wrinkles. You can expect to see an improved overall complexion and skin tone with frequent peels.
How Does MicroLaser Peel Work?
MicroLaser Peel involves using an advanced erbium laser to safely and precisely remove the uppermost layers of dead and damaged skin cells. The uppermost layers of your skin sustain most of the damage caused by sunlight, injuries, acne breakouts, and accumulated oils and debris. As such, removing the damaged upper layers of your skin paves the way for softer, smoother skin underneath. MicroLaser also stimulates collagen production, which can reduce mild to moderate wrinkles and make your skin look tighter.

The MicroLaser Peel Procedure
Your MicroLaser Peel session starts with a consultation. The medical provider carefully examines your facial skin, discusses your goals, analyzes your skin type, and determines if you’re a good candidate. During the treatment, the medical provider applies a topical numbing cream to ensure comfort, following which the MicroLaser Peel device is used to deliver laser energy to your skin’s surface. The depth of laser energy is customized according to your skin. The treatment concludes within 30 minutes.
The MicroLaser Peel Recovery
Regardless of the intensity of your treatment, you can expect redness, swelling, tenderness, and increased sunlight sensitivity for a few days, similar to a sunburn. You should apply a gentle moisturizer and cleanser to soothe and protect your skin. You can resume low-level activities on the same day, but you should avoid work and other activities for a few days. Some patients take up to 5 days off work to recover properly.
MicroLaser Peel FAQs
What are my aftercare guidelines?
After the Peel, your skin may feel dry and tight and look pink or red. You should avoid direct sun exposure and, if needed, wear sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 30 or higher. Keep your skin hydrated with a gentle moisturizer, and avoid abrasive cleansers or exfoliants. You may experience some peeling, but don’t pick at your skin.
When can I return to work?
You can take 2 to 5 days off work after your treatment. The specific duration of your recovery depends on your unique skin condition, the intensity of your treatment, and your lifestyle.
When will I see the results?
Most patients notice considerable improvements in skin tone and texture a week after the first session. But the results continue improving for several weeks as your body produces new collagen fibers and skin cells.
How many treatments do I need?
The number of treatments you get depends on your specific conditions and requirements. Most patients see optimal results after 3 to 4 sessions spaced a few weeks apart.
